NIKKRIA est un projet de l'artiste et designer VINCENT PRESSIAT, qui crée des portraits de collage déformés des personnes qui l'inspirent. Les images sont des interprétations visuelles distendues, reflétant les effets de l'altération de l'esprit reflétant un mélange de romantisme et d'agressivité.

Né pendant la pandémie, Nikkria joue avec l'univers de la photographie de mode pour créer de nouvelles images, souvent utilisées dans son travail en tant que designer de mode. Les œuvres sont pixelisées, offrant une nouvelle interprétation de l'impressionnisme.

La visionnaire de mode et d’art Michèle Lamy a découvert Nikkria sur les réseaux sociaux.

"Un jour, j'ai vu ce portrait de moi sur Instagram. C'était un collage très Klimtien de quelqu'un appelé Nikkria", dit-elle. "Quand un magazine m'a demandé quel photographe je voudrais pour prendre ma photo pour un éditorial, j'ai demandé cet artiste."

Elle a collaboré avec Pressiat pour la première de couverture du HFT Zine’s “Love letter to Fashion Week” in 2020. De leur  intérêt commun pour l’art et la mode, s’en est suivi un travail commun pour la création d’imprimés textile pour HFT Group.

En 2022, NIKKRIA a été exposé au Palais de Tokyo en collaboration avec la fondation Moleskine pour "Détours 2.0 : Un voyage à travers les catalyseurs créatifs". Cette exposition collective itinérante, intitulée H-TIME, représente une distorsion des "revellers" durant la période particulière suivant la pandémie, symbolisant "le temps qui s'épuise". Bien que cette représentation puisse être perçue comme destructrice, illustrant la difficulté de retrouver nos moments heureux, elle demeure un symbole d'espoir.

Parallèlement, les dessins de NIKKRIA deviennent des imprimés pour la ligne de vêtements de Vincent Garnier Pressiat, fusionnant ainsi mode et art.

NIKKRIA started as a personal project for artist & designer Vincent Pressiat who began creating distorted collage portraits of people who inspire him. The images are swirling, visual interpretations of the mind altering effects of opium.

Born during the pandemic, Nikkria plays with the universe of fashion photography to create new images, often used throughout his work as a fashion designer.

Nikkria is a visual distortion. A distorted interpretation of the personality represented, which is meant to be romantic and aggressive. The works are pixelated like a new interpretation of Impressionism.

He began posting them on social media and that is where Fashion Visionary Michel Lamy found him. Nikkria collaborated with muse and mentor Michéle Lamy to create visual distortions of her for the HFT Zine’s first cover, a “Love letter to Fashion Week” in 2020

“One day, I saw this portrait of me on Instagram. It was a very Klimt-like collage by someone called Nikkria,” she said. “When a magazine asked me

which photographer I would like to take my picture for an editorial, I asked for this artist. That’s when I found out it was actually Vincent, whom I knew from Manko Club,” the Parisian cabaret that closed in 2019.”

Lamy requested that they collaborate together for HFT Group and this has led to a big interest in the art work & a demand for print Sales

Exhibited at Palais de Tokyo in 2022, in collaboration with the Moleskin foundation for "Detours 2.0: A journey through creative catalyseurs", a collective itinerant exhibition, H-TIME is a reflection of our times, a distortion of the revellers in the particular period following the pandemic, which represents "time running out". It can be seen as destructive to illustrate the difficulty of rebuilding our happy moments during such a time, it is however a symbol of hope. At the same time, NIKKRIA's drawings become prints for Vincent Garnier Pressiat's clothing line, thus merging fashion and art.
